Lot of updates
Lot of Horsey updates
I did lot of research on the new blind mare sassy
Through the magic of the Internet I found out that her freeze brad is registered and after google-ling the name I came up with s cell phone number
We texted last night and today she texted me Sassy's APHA name and number
Trough help of friends I now got her full pedigree and its added onto allbreedpedigree
Her age is younger then I was told what is a good thing but I also found out that I need to get her HYPP tested
She had one foal
All that info
The black n white colt got sold this morning, after all that I went trough with loading him last time and the training I put into him I was still amazed that he jumped right into the little 2 horse trailer even with one of the foot closed
He will have s nice home
I also got some pictures of sunshine my QH mare from couple days ago
She was been ridden by a friend :-)
Got to call school and then clean house
All in all a good day

Rain so much rain
It's been raining all day
At times it was pouring so hard it turned my driveway and my pasture into a lake
Tonight it should turn to snow
Yeah the joy
On to horses
We have a new horse
She is 14 and very broke to ride, does play days, goes in parades and been used as a lesson horse
Oh yeah and she is blind, no no she can NOT see anything as in she is blind as a bat
She will walk, trot and canter and do anything you ask if her as in sidestep and neckrein
We just had her at the equine dentist and she is put on a good diet and we will see if she will gain some weight
She is hanging out with the minis and so far she is doing great
She is branded and I would really like to find out where that brand came from but do far no luck

Heat weave
Is it warm out today? It's January and 71F outside
Crazy weather
I made the small pasture mini save today and turned them out
They were happy and ran around and rolling
Next is to drag the small pasture
I had to turn out done big horses in there and they just mad a mess

Horse float
No no not the ice cream kind but the teeth kind
Today a bunch of people got together with Ed McCarty who is an equine dentist
To make it easy on him and get a quantity discount we set up a place and everybody around hauled in there horses
Ed uses no sedation and no power tools and is just great great great with the horses
Hotshot was one I took and he was so well behaved

Not to much going on
Cleaned house
Cooking slow stove top cooked (3 of mire hours) German sauerbraten what is a pork roast
Still planing to go an worm all the horses today

Awesome
I had an awesome day
First I feed and filled up all the horses water tanks and opened gaits so Adam could put out hay for everybody
Then we left the kids at home and went to KC
We went out to eat and stopped at the AT&T store to ask a bunch of questions about upgrading Adams phone and about iPads
Then we stopped to get some food at the store and got ice cream
Stopped at redbox to get some movies for tonight
All in all a good day

Cajun spirit lady
Lets all welcome my new addition
AMHR Cajun Spirit Lady is a 2003 buckskin (with dorsal strip) bald face mare
She is open and in need of a diet lol
She is also very very sweet and loving and will go into training in spring to learn how to drive
She had several foals with her last 2 been an loud appy and one that looked just like her

Romeo the rescue
So I made some emails and it's nice to find out that Romeo had great care till June of this year and his caretaker had pictures to share of him been a foal
Sad to see how he used to look and how bad he looks now but now anybody can see that he will be stunning fat and slicked out
